Obesity Prevention - Follow Two Simple Rules For a Healthier Life
By Gareth Black

Recent reports and statistics from the World Health Organization and other international bodies indicate that the number of people suffering from obesity and morbid obesity is increasing alarmingly. Countries once thought to be free of the problem are now reporting increased numbers of sufferers.

However, there are many people who will never experience this troublesome condition. These are the people who knowingly or otherwise implement two of the most important rules for a healthy life - eat a varied, nutritious and well balanced diet, and get plenty of regular exercise.

Implement a Weight Loss Program

A nutritious and well balanced diet should consist of lean meat, chicken and fish all in moderate quantities. Eat five portions of fresh vegetables and two portions of fresh fruit daily - a portion being recognized as half a cup. A glass of fruit juice will suffice in lieu of a portion of fruit.

Eat whole grain bread in preference to white bread and have a quantity of natural nuts with dried fruit such as sultanas or raisins to chew on if hungry. Adhere to this basic eating rule when eating away from home.

Foods to be avoided at all costs are all processed foods (high in salt and fats); fatty and high calorie foods; foods and drinks with excess quantities of sugar; and only drink alcohol in moderation.

Exercise for Weight Loss

Regular exercises are just as important and beneficial as a nutritious and well balanced diet.

Exercise for weight loss daily and regularly - either with a constant routine (such as a daily walk) or with a varied routine (jogging one day, cycling the next, swimming the day after etc.) Light exercise would consist of walk at a brisk pace for about 45 minutes and should be the minimum for a fit and healthy person.

By carrying out these two common sense rules regularly then a person should never have a problem of being over weight.

Pill to Control Weight

As a booster to a responsible diet and regular exercises, there are pills on the market that claim to help people who want to reduce their weight. Whilst most of these pills are of questionable effectiveness, a new pill has come on the market that approaches the problem from a different perspective.

This is a pill to control weight by limiting the amount of fat the body stores.

By taking this pill, then no matter how much fat is consumed from a meal, 28% of the fat will not be absorbed into the body. So if a person is eating a diet with little fat, then 28% of that fat be will ejected from the body, reducing the total amount of fat stored in the body to an absolute minimum.

This has the effect of keeping the total amount of body fat under control and prevents any large increase in body weight. If this pill is taken in conjunction with a sensible diet and regular exercises, then obesity prevention is possible.

What makes this pill different from similar pills is that the basic ingredient has been proven under strict test conditions to reduce fat intake by 28%, and has been approved as an effective weight loss program by the European Union and the UK. It also meets the guidelines set down by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Implementation of a weight management plan enables an overweight or obese sufferer to lose weight. Having such a plan is the best method of achieving calorie control. Additionally, a proven weight loss program can greatly assist the plan.
